Ardbeg 10yr Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

    $59.99

    Size 750ML

Ardbeg Ten Years Old is a very special bottling for the Ardbeg distillery as it is the first non-chill filtered whisky in the Ardbeg range. Chill filtering isn't a bad thing, in fact it created real consistency of product when the whisky industry was a little more 'hap-hazard' than it is today. Ardbeg Ten Years Old is whisky with none of the goodness taken out and as good as straight from the cask. Who would believe that back in 1981, the distillery fell silent and was mothballed? Fortunately in 1997, to the delight of fans all over the world Glenmorangie plc rescued Ardbeg and a team of dedicated souls set about repairing and reviving the distillery (not to mention repainting it!). Now, once again Ardbeg flows freely. Learn More

Johnnie Walker Select Casks – Rye Cask Finish is a Scotch Whisky blend that showcases the best of Scottish blending and maturation expertise. With Cardhu single malt at the heart of the blend, Johnnie Walker’s Master Blender Jim Beveridge used whiskies matured for at least ten years in first-fill American Oak casks to create this blend.  He finished the Scotch in ex-rye whiskey casks, creating a complex new whisky with rich layers of flavor starting with creamy vanilla notes and transitioning to a spicier finish.

“From the early days when John Walker first blended whiskies in 1820 to the unique blends created today, Johnnie Walker has always thrived on experimentation. I believe that whisky is ever evolving and experimental in nature and I am pleased to present the first Rye Cask finished Blended Scotch Whisky” said Master Blender Jim Beveridge. “Johnnie Walker Select Casks is a unique style of Scotch that blends the flavor characteristics of bourbon and rye with some of the classic signature notes and smoothness of Johnnie Walker Scotch Whisky.

    $66.94

    Size 750ML

I was going to write something cheesy about cowboys, campfires, and whiskey but I figured you might be more interested in how CAMPFIRE WHISKEY™ came to be. One morning at the Bruichladdich distillery B&B, my wife and I smelled peat in the air - the great ladies that made our meals were simmering a bottle of peated whiskey and sugar! Later that night, they brought out dessert of ripe honeydew drizzled with the peated syrup. That was the most unusual, delicious and memorable ending to a dinner I’ve ever had. The combination of melon and sweet smoke really worked - so (naturally...) I thought why not mix sweet bourbon and peat? Worked for me! The main flavor (or melody) is sweet honey from a ripe bourbon. The enhancing flavor (or harmony) is floral fruity spice from a mature rye whiskey. The accent (Satchmo’s gravelly voice!) is the smoke from a peated scotch whisky. The proportions? Top secret. So...as the sun sinks low and the cold settles in, grab a bottle of CAMPFIRE WHISKEY™ and gather round a blazing fire to warm up, wind down your day, share stories, and deepen friendships. One taste of this sweet, spicy and, yes...smoky whiskey, you’ll know how it got its name. We like to enjoy CAMPFIRE WHISKEY™ with s’mores…or good-looking strangers. If you find yourself in Old Town Park City, you ought to come visit the High West Distillery and Saloon and get a taste of our Western hospitality and our crowd-pleasing victuals. 35. Green Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

Green Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

    $74.94

    Size 750ML

The Green Spot has long been a collector's whiskey due to its quality and limited supply, and is also a single pot distillation. In fact, Midleton Distillery in County Cork is the sole remaining producer of single pot still whiskies in Ireland, and this artisanal portfolio includes both of these brands along with the Midleton and Power single pot still labels. The Green Spot being released here is the non-age statement label, vatted from 7-9 year old versions and 100% single pot still (in Ireland there are three versions of the Green Spot, including a 10 and 12 year old, as well as sibling Yellow Spot). The Green Spot is very complex but its main characteristic is a honeyed flavor that offsets its inherent spiciness, and as it is 25% Sherry aged, it as is not as sherry sweet as the Redbreast but you definitely taste the wood. The Green Spot also traces its roots to the turn of the 20th century, 12 decades ago, and is produced in very limited quantities (only 12,000 bottles each year). Famed spirit writer Jim Murray has said "Green Spot is to the true Irish whiskey drinker what the Irish Round Tower is to the archaeologist," as well as calling it, "Unquestionably one of the world's great whiskies. High West Bourye Whiskey

    $88.99

    Size 750ML

It's back! Very similar to original Bourye in age profile and component whiskeys, we actually think this one is better. Unique and very premium blend of old and rich bourbon (9 years old) and rye (10 and 16 years old) whiskeys making for a premier sipping whiskey and one of our (High West) all time favorites.

    How to Enjoy:

Bourye® is best enjoyed around a campfire while looking at the milky way. Sip straight or with a little water. Not recommended with ice.

    The Name:

Bourye® is a combination of "Bou" for bourbon and "rye" for..well, rye whiskey. Because combining bourbon and rye is a bit unusual, we couldn't help thinking of the jackalope. Honestly, we didn’t think anyone would like the name!

    Back Label Story:

The jackalope, also called an antelabbit, is an antlered species of rabbit, a cross between a jack rabbit and an antelope with horns. It is rumored that pockets of jackalope populations continue to persist in the American West, its native home. In the old West, when cowboys would gather by their campfires to sing at night, jackalopes would frequently be heard singing back, mimicking the voices of the cowboys. When chased, the jackalope will use its vocal abilities to elude capture. For instance, when chased by people it will call out phrases such as, “There he goes, over there,” in order to throw pursuers off its track. Legend suggests the best way to catch a jackalope is to lure it with whiskey, as they have a particular fondness for this drink. Once intoxicated, the animal becomes slower and easier to hunt. That’s why High West created Bourye, our proprietary blend of Bourbon and Rye, both favorites of real cowboys and sure to attract even the most finicky of jackalopes. Please see highwest.com for specific details about the different whiskeys in this bottle - we like adjusting things every now and then according to our mood. Bourye is best enjoyed around a campfire while looking at the Milky Way. Important! Jackalopes will attack if cornered or provoked. To avoid injury, quickly fall to the ground, remain calm and still, while humming the Roy Rogers song, “Happy Trails to You.”

    $99.00

    Size 750ML

Handmade oak barrels, lightly toasted in the traditional manner, impart a wonderfully subtle flavor. During this process, the inside of the barrel would become toasted, but not charred. For aging, several uncharred oak barrels, both new and used, to achieve the balanced complexity that complements this whiskey's traditional heritage. 51.2% ABV
