The La Braccesca estate in Montepulciano has 103 hectares of top quality vineyards that produce the fruit for this Vino Nobile di Montepulciano wine. Made in a traditional style, this is a fresh and refined red wine with plenty of enticing red cherry, dark berry, and savoury earthy character. The first sip displays a firm structure, fine tannins and intense fruit flavours which linger long on the tongue.
Although predominantly made with the classic local grape Sangiovese, the Antinoris add a small proportion of Merlot to the blend to add softness and ripe dark berry flavours. The result is a complex, multi-layered red wine which combines Tuscany’s time-honoured winemaking traditions with French elegance and poise.
